YMCA OF GREATER WESTFIELD PRESENTS:
While Covid placed a halt on our event for the past two years; it did not stop us from serving our community. As a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening community, we have been working harder than ever before to make sure everyone in our community feels safe and cared for.
We said yes we can help meet the most pressing needs of the community without a concern for costs, bottom-lines or operating margins.
We said yes we will open Essential Employee Emergency Child Care to ensure front-line workers had a safe and caring place for their children.
We said yes we will open summer camps with all the new restrictions - knowing that expenses would increase and revenues would decrease but also knowing that it was more important for youth development and closing the child care gap for working families.
We said yes we will open our YMCA again because health seekers, seniors and all depend on us for a balanced spirit, mind and body.
We said yes we can operate remote learning centers to serve families, who to no fault of their own, cannot be home with their children during the school day.
As our community builds back from the pandemic, at the Y, we're building back to create a future that everyone deserves. When we care for each other, we create a better world for everyone. Your participation in Comedy for a Cause means we can continue to do good in our community, together.
THE Y. FOREVER IN SERVICE. FOR A BETTER US.
