Hotel Effie itself is found on the banks of the Choctawhatchee Bay, nestled inside the gates of the world-famous Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort and adjacent to the bustling Village at Baytowne Wharf. The area is serviced by the Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), and Pensacola International Airport (PNS).

FUN, SUN & CE- Our Annual Conference is specially designed to fit all attending OD's needs.
The GOA is proud to offer some of the best continuing education in the Southeast! This year being no exception. There will be 14hrs of COPE Accredited CE, plus 1 hr of GA Laws and Rules. We are excited to announce that Dr. Mark Dunbar and Dr. Jessica Steen will be headlining our speaker circuit along with lectures from our GOA Partners at Omni Eye Services, Georgia Retina and Thomas Eye Group. Mr. Aubrey Villines, GOA General Counsel will be closing out our education with his Georgia Laws and Rules lecture.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet with vendors, network with longtime friends and meet new colleagues. We even plan our schedule to include some downtime to enjoy everything the Gulf Coast has to offer. See Full Schedule
REGISTRATION FEES
OD Registration: (Inclusive) Registration materials; All Continuing Education; Admission to all Social Events, All Meals and Drink tickets.

*Registrants must both be registered at the full conference rate and is not inclusive of social only, guest or children registrations.

EDUCATION & POLICIES - There will be a total of 15 hours of CE offered at the GOA Annual Conference comprised of the following: 14 hours of COPE Accredited CE and 1 hour of NON COPE Georgia Laws and Rules.
- Vailid name badges will serve admission to the lecture hall and must be worn by attendees at all times.
- Entrance and exit of the lecture hall will be monitored to meet Georgia State Board Regulations and COPE Guidelines.
- Attendees may only be absent from any class for a maximum of 10 minutes/lecture hour. If absent more than the allotted time, attendee will be allowed to return to the lecture hall, but will not receive credit for that class.
- OE Tracker/ARBO Cards will be scanned at the conclusion of each lecture. CE Certificates and QR Codes for use with the ARBO Mobile App will also be available.
- FL License Holders - COPE Hours will be CE Broker Approved.
CANCELLATION POLICY: There will be a $35.00 Administrative Fee for all cancellations. We will issue refunds for cancellations made prior to May 20, 2022. No refunds will be issued after May 20, 2022. Substitutions are permitted at any time, please notify the GOA Office immediately with any changes or cancellations.
