Conversational Capacity with Craig Weber 

Summary:  Conversational capacity is the ability to converse in an open-minded and learning-focused way in challenging circumstances. It allows those who are participating in a discussion to balance their candor with curiosity, and their courage with humility.  It is a high-impact skill that embodies research in cognitive neuroscience, human factors, emotional intelligence, mindfulness and management science.

Description:  Conversational capacity strengthens our interactions with others that rely on open, clear, effective dialogue for its effectiveness – from running meetings, making decisions, and giving feedback, to facilitate change and nurture innovation.

Abstract:  This presentation will highlight the topics to be covered in the 4-hour tutorial on Sat. June 18, 2022 where students will engage in small group activities to practice how to build more adaptive teams and working relationships.

Please join us to learn how this important skill can improve the effectiveness of your communication and make any  meeting or conversation smarter.
