KCAIC is in the process of engaging communities throughout Kansas in the creation of a strategic plan focused on developing creative and cultural resources as an essential catalyst for innovation and community revitalization.

To best develop and deploy resources for public good and social impact, a successful plan will re-imagine the place culture holds in Kansas communities; expand the role the arts play in achieving local priorities; build and support statewide infrastructure for the creative sector; and outline broad, high-impact strategies that Kansans see as necessary for individuals and communities to thrive.

Doors open for refreshments and music at 5:00, conversation starts at 5:30.
