RCAP Field Day 

After a two-year hiatus, we are very excited to bring back Field Days this June!

Join us for a great day of hands-on demonstrations for both water and sewer operators and local decision-makers interested in learning more about best practices and the latest equipment and technology to enhance your operations. RCAP Condition Assessment Team and GIS Team staff alongside industry experts and equipment providers will offer multiple 45 minute sessions across five tracks throughout the day.

Earn up to 6 O&M Contact Hours. Some of the sessions we are planning include:

• Early bird session with OUPS
• Line locating
• Hydrant maintenance and iHydrants with Zach Walker representing Kennedy
• Leak detection methods with Mark Beatty and RCAP Operator Todd Brandenburg
• Lead (Pb) inspection and testing
• Valve exercising and maintenance
• 3D Manhole Inspections
• NASSCO coding to communicate sewer repairs
• iTrackers for sewer flow micro-monitoring
• Modern methods for smoke testing
• GIS web and mobile apps
• Cybersecurity

Registration, including morning coffee and a box lunch, are free.  Registration will begin 7:15 am with our Early Bird session starting at 8:00 am.  Welcome, housekeeping and first regular sessions begin at 9:00 am and we will wrap up by 4:00 PM.
