Drew Barker, Senior Vice President, Head of Climate Risk Management, Truist Bank
Drew is the Head of Climate Risk Management within the Risk Management Organization at Truist Bank.  Drew has been with Truist for seven years, serving in various leadership roles including as the Director of Liquidity Management & Funding and the Head of Capital Adequacy and Resolution.  Prior to joining Truist, Drew was a Senior Examiner with the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.  Drew holds a B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology in Management and an M.B.A. from Goizueta Business School at Emory University. 

Jeff Lee, Director, Protiviti
Jeff joined Protiviti in June 2021 as a Director in the Risk and Compliance practice. Prior to joining Protiviti, Jeff was Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Fifth Third Bank, where he was a key leader in transformational efforts to strengthen risk management capabilities and culture across the bank, including the design and implementation of robust ERM, operational, vendor, new product, and fraud risk programs. Additional areas of focus included risk governance, credit risk analytics, risk oversight of M&A activities, policy management, ESG governance, and regulatory excellence. He was a member of several risk committees, including the Enterprise Risk Committee, and was a frequent presenter at the Risk and Compliance Committee of the Board. Prior to Fifth Third, Jeff had a 30-year career at Bank of America as a commercial banker, credit products leader, and risk management executive. Jeff holds a B.A. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Dr. Elizabeth Malcolm, Professor of Ocean and Atmospheric Science, Virginia Wesleyan University
Elizabeth is a Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences and the Director of Sustainability at Virginia Wesleyan University. She received her B.A. in Environmental Science from Earlham College and her Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Michigan’s College of Engineering. Before joining the faculty at Virginia Wesleyan, she was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University in the Department of Geosciences. Her research focuses on heavy metal pollution and how sustainable solutions, such as green roofs, stormwater ponds, and compost, affect pollutant fate and transport.  Her most current research project investigates extreme heat in Virginia Beach.  She is passionate about training undergraduates in sustainability and environmental science through research and project-based learning.
