The ILO Experience: Pivoting to Independent Living

Come and listen to the stories from four participating families of ILO on their journeys finding ILO, why they joined, when did they transition their self-advocate to independent living, and what advice they would give to families interested in ILO.

Also hear from Maedi why she founded ILO and where Ellie is today, the basics of ILO, how to join and when the next training dates will be.

Lastly, understand ILO’s service, Long Term Facilitation (LTF), in detail and meet ILO’s new partner, First Maryland Disability in the LTF service. They will share what they do and how they support self-advocates in the LTF service. PLAN was unable to attend and Maedi will share their services in the LTF process.
