Native Plant Hike at Private Ranch Near Larkspur

Join us on an early summer hike near Larkspur, Colorado at a private property with high prairie meadows and impressive cliff edge crevice rock gardens, often featuring native plants that can grow in your own gardens. Expect a gently rolling 2 - 3 mile hike featuring mostly flowering native forbs and shrubs. Enjoy the beautiful landscape while identifying many of the native plants we love in Colorado!

A plant list will be provided in advance of the hike.

This hike will be led by Pam Schulz, Geologist, Geophysicist, Native Plant Master and leader of the Wild Ones Front Range Propogation Committee. Pam developed a passion for native plants over ten years ago and has been seeking them out and photographing  them on her frequent hikes along the Front Range.
