The Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) will host the next trainer training on Trauma Informed Support, led by Dr. Harvey. If you are interested in becoming a trainer for your organization, please apply using the link below.
Applicants will be considered using the following questions, as attendance is limited.
- Does your agency support people with a known trauma history?
- Number of years with your agency
- Number of years working in the field of developmental disabilities.
- Do you have any training experience?
- Have you attended the two-day initial training held in June?
- Within the past 2 years has your agency experienced any of the following:
- Losses/death due to Covid-19 - either staff or person(s) served
- Losses/death due to other health or environmental situations with either staff or person(s) served
- Increase of incidents such as aggression, abuse or other traumatic events with either staff or person(s) served
