California Short Line Railroad Association 2022 Annual Meeting 

The 2022 the California Short Line Railroad Association Annual Meeting will be held at the Westin San Diego. We will kick off with lunch at 11:45 AM on July 13th, with meeting sessions 1:00pm to -5:00 PM, followed by an reception 5:30-7 PM. The group will recommence at 8:30 AM on July 14th with the meeting adjourning at Noon, followed by optional  social activities (golf and sailing) from 1 - 5 PM.  Presentations will include a review and discussion of current legislation and regulations affecting CSLRA members, including the proposed renewal of the CA Short Line RR Grant Program and the current state of the CA Air Resources Board (CARB) proposed In-use Locomotive Regulation, a topic of critical importance to all railroad operations in CA.

Hotel Reservations

The CSLRA room block at the Westin ($199/night rate plus daily facility fee discounted to $10) was available for the nights of July 12, 13 and 14 and closed on June 13, 2022.  The Westin is now completely full for the nights of our event.  Thank you to those who booked for helping CSLRA to hold down event costs by utilizing the contracted room block.  For those still needing hotel reservations, hotel space downtown is available but expensive.  Lower rates may be found in nearby areas such as Old Town, Mission Valley and the airport.
