Support Broker Certification Training 

Support Broker Training and certification is required for Support Brokers to continue with providing services. Certification is valid for 2 years. 

To get access to the self-paced training materials you must first register for a brief on-line Orientation meeting. Because the orientation is the jumping-off point to the success of this program, participants must check emails for links to join and log in on time.  Goto Training materials and join links will be sent to participants by email & will come from "Organizer D. Will".  

After you take the Support Broker orientation you will receive an email later that day containing a certificate for your records, along with a link to the quizzes and exam.  You will have one week to review all of the self-guided modules, take the quizzes and the final exam.  

It is expected that all attendees will actively participate and comply with the expectations of the class by completing the modules and the quizzes. Trainees will be required to demonstrate core competency by passing a final exam within one week.

After passing the exam, a certificate and approval letter will be emailed to you in about 2-3 weeks.  If you have questions about the training or if you require any special accommodations, please email donna.will@maryland.gov.
