Community Habitat Restoration at the Ballona Wetlands + Partnership with Blue Sky LA
Roll up your sleeves to help the Friends restore the last coastal wetland in Los Angeles. Get hands-on experience while learning about urban ecology. The time and effort you put in to clear out invasive vegetation gives our slow-growing native plants room to thrive. Healthy plant life is vital for a healthy ecosystem!

The restoration portion of the event begins at 9:30 am. The gate will be locked at 9:35 am, please no late arrivals. PARKING IS LIMITED. Please carpool, rideshare, walk and cycle when possible.

The health and safety of the public, volunteers, interns and staff is of the utmost importance to Friends of Ballona Wetlands. To help keep all participants in our programming healthy and safe, Friends of Ballona Wetland will be implementing the following policies and procedures.
Friends of Ballona Wetlands will:
- Provide hand sanitizer or wipes
Participants will:
- Bring and use their own work gloves (You may borrow gloves from us if you don't have any)
- Bring and use their own water bottle
If you are feeling symptoms such as fever, coughing, and shortness of breath, do not attend!
