Virtual: 50 Years of S&T Policy Fellows 

Join the AAAS S&T Policy Fellowships (STPF) on June 16 at 1 p.m. ET for “50 Years of S&T Policy Fellows.” Established in 1973, meet five fellows who illustrate STPF's 50 years of science policy impact. Each speaker will share a flash talk showcasing their memorable moments as a science policy fellow, and how the fellowship transformed their career. Each speaker’s flash talk will be followed by a Q&A with the audience. If you’ve ever wanted to meet an STPF fellow or are curious about life as a fellow and how it can impact your career path, you don’t want to miss this. The AAAS S&T Policy Fellowships (STPF) is now accepting applications for the class of 2023-24! These paid fellowships are an excellent way for doctoral-level scientists, social scientists and engineers to apply their expertise and make a positive impact on societal issues. Applications will be accepted for the executive, legislative and judicial branches. The fellows who are selected will join a community of nearly 4,000 alumni spanning 50 years.

STPF Eligibility Criteria

STPF is open to U.S. citizens who hold doctoral level degrees in any of the following fields:

• Biological, Agricultural or Life sciences.
• Physical or Earth sciences.
• Social and Behavioral sciences.
• Computational and Information sciences.
• Mathematics and Statistics.
• Medical and Health Sciences.
• Engineering disciplines (applicants with an M.S. in engineering and three years of professional engineering experience also qualify).
