Jim Cohen of Maine Affordable Energy will be presenting on a ballot question proposing to create a state government authority to take over and operate Central Maine Power and Versant Power.

Jim is a partner with the law firm Verrill Dana, LLP, where he has been practicing energy law for more than 30 years. Jim is also a former Mayor of Portland and was the first chair of the City Council’s Transportation Committee. He is the immediate past president of the Portland Community Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves as board chair of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority.
