Four Important Tree Diseases

You Should Know About

Swing by our third installment of GMF's Forest Health Lecture Series with CAES Plant Pathologist, Dr. Robert Marra, as he describes the effects of four tree diseases throughout Northeastern forests; both urban and natural. He will discuss the far-reaching impacts theses blights caused in the past and what that means for the future of our forests. We will then observe principles of plant pathology and utilize those doctrines as Dr. Marra discusses the natural history and consequences of chestnut blight, beech bark disease, beech leaf disease, and oak wilt. Come dive into the details of plant pathology with us and see what tree diseases are on your back door. This event has been approved for 1.0 CEU.
