Course Leader: Kathy Bazan

Kathy Bazan is a Certified SCORE Mentor with expertise in social media and digital marketing. By writing vibrant content, she built a corporation’s Facebook community from 0 to over 9,500 Likes in 2 ½ years. For this same company, she honed her skills by writing eBlasts to potential and current customers which increased sales. For a men’s clothing shop, she wrote the eBlast which generated the most sales of any eBlast in the company’s 21 year history. It’s these skills that she teaches in this workshop.

About SCORE

SCORE is headquartered in Herndon, VA and Washington, DC and has over 300 chapters throughout the United States and its territories with 10,000 + volunteers nationwide.  Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors. SCORE was founded in 1964.

A blog can effectively drive traffic to your website and then convert that traffic to leads and ultimately, sales.  All blogs have things in common such as the main content area where the articles are listed in reverse chronological order or categorized according to their niche. A blog also has a place for people to leave their comments or a list of links that are interlinked to other articles.

Bottom line: firms that prioritize blogging will likely see dramatic returns on their investment.

This webinar SCORE’s Business Education series with our partnership with the FVRL and Longview Public Libraries.  Kathy Bazan, your Course Leader for this series is an accomplished wordsmith, webhost and blogger.  So join us to learn about blogging and how you can contribute to business growth with the tips and tricks and a little practice offered in this webinar.
