Youth Leadership Training 

Calling all high school and college students in Iowa: You’re invited to join us for a free leadership training session! This summer, we are hosting Dr. Mylon Jamar Kirksy for sessions that will help improve the competency and skills in communications, judgment, self-awareness, and critical thinking of aspiring leaders. These fun and highly interactive sessions will give you insights into your own intercultural mindset, judgments, and biases with the goal of helping you learn to be more self-aware, reduce bias and develop your ability to interpret and evaluate media and messages.

These 60-minute sessions will be presented virtually using Zoom. Participants can choose between sessions on July 15th and August 15th from Noon-1PM CST. The content of both sessions will be the same, so it is only necessary to attend one. Registration is required to attend.
