Bringing Equity to Resource Development

This workshop will provide an introduction to Community Centric Fundraising and the movement’s history. Rachel will provide first-hand observations of how the movement has grown in St. Louis, a fellow midwest region relative to many major cities in Iowa. Through various workshop activities and conversations, the presenters will challenge attendees to broaden their vision of what fundraising and resource procurement could look like in their own communities and organizations with a social justice lens.

Attendees will leave this workshop with:

Ideas of how to bring existing and prospective donors into the CCF movement

A broader understanding of how to implement an equity lens in fundraising and resource mobilization in both their organizations and the surrounding community

Tangible tools and resources to take CCF back into their own practices
