Family Fishing Event

Come on out to Terra Lake for an evening of fishing basics and fishing. Participants will learn key fishing skills such as ethics, regulations, fish ID, knot tying, tackle assembly, casting, baiting, reeling and landing fish.

Individuals aged 16 or older must have a valid Iowa fishing license. Under 12 must be accompanied by adult. Basic instruction from 5:00 - 5:30; equipment distribution at 5:30.

Please bring your own equipment if you have it. Limited fishing equipment may be available while supplies last. Check out fun learning stations and learn some fishing basics. Bait will be provided to youth participants. Please bring your own equipment, if you have it. Limited fishing equipment may be available upon request while supplies last. Adult supervision is required at all times.
