DDA Statewide Nurses Meeting

Review of Nursing Assessment Techniques 

Please join the DDA Regional Nurses on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the statewide nurse meeting and training on nursing assessment techniques.  Developing effective health assessment techniques is essential to your role as a nurse.  After participating in this interactive session, the learner will be able to:
  • Discuss the importance of conducting a thorough health assessment
  • Identify the types of health assessments
  • Describe normal and abnormal findings in a health assessment
  • Review techniques to perform a head-to-toe assessment 
Presented by Dr. Denyce Watties-Daniels, this training will count as one of the two required nursing meetings to remain active on the DDA RN CM/DN registry.  Attendees must be present for at least 60 minutes to be given credit for attendance.  If you need assistance with registration or GoTo Webinar links, please reach out to Donna Will at donna.will@maryland.gov.
