- POA ANNUA DEEP DIVE: Poa annua has been ranked the most troublesome turfgrass weed and golf course superintendents certainly understand why. This presentation will provide an overview on managing Poa annua infestations on golf courses. Attendees will receive an update on the current status of herbicide resistance within Poa annua, strategies to manage resistance in the short term, as well as perspectives on what management might look like in the future. The presentation will provide an overview of Poa annua biology and discuss how disease management strategies could affect Poa annua management on different parts of the golf course
