Donor Meetings That Build Relationships

Building relationships with key donors is a strategic process that requires a plan. This presentation will focus on securing meetings with donors, asking questions to fully understand the donor’s reasons for giving, and using a meeting planning tool to improve outcomes. 

Guest Speaker: Carol Moreland

Carol founded Interaction Consulting 1993 as a firm specializing in improving communication effectiveness. She has personally trained over 5,000 people in such areas as:  relationship building, donor focused fund raising, performance management, team building and public speaking.  Carol has worked with corporations, universities, and over 100 large and small non-profit organizations nationwide. She personally managed stewardship campaigns for Eliot Chapel resulting in over $600,000 in pledges. 

Carol earned a master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Purdue University, and a B.S. in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University. She resides in St. Louis, MO.

Continuing Education:
MCLE – Donor Meetings That Build Relationships is approved for 1.2 total hours, including 0.0 ethics hours and 0.0 elimination of bias hours.

CFRE – Full participation in Donor Meetings That Build Relationships is applicable for 1.0 points in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.

Full refunds are available up to 4 business days prior to a program or event. After that time, we are unable to accommodate refunds unless SLCCGP cancels the program or event. Thank you for understanding.
