The Path to Net Zero: A Decarbonization Roadmap for CA - IFMA-SD 9-14 Luncheon

California is targeting a just and equitable energy transition to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. That means removing as much carbon from the atmosphere as California produces. In the San Diego and southern Orange County region, SDG&E and many local cities also embrace carbon neutrality as their goal.

To stimulate community engagement and economywide collaboration to achieve our shared climate goals, SDG&E has published its vision on how to decarbonize the economy while also prioritizing grid reliability, affordability and equity. The Path to Net Zero: A Decarbonization Roadmap for California  lays out specific recommendations for the state to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. 

Join us as representatives from San Diego Gas & Electric present and discuss the findings of their study and its affects on you, your businesses and the general community.

Schedule of Events:

  • 11:50 AM - Ask people to make their way to their seats
  • 12 noon - Announcements
  • 12:10 PM - Speaker presentation
  • 1:00 PM - Adjourn meeting
  • 1:30 PM - Pack up and depart

    • Facility Manager Only (One-time only) - complimentary
    • Vendor/Supplier - $75.00 per person (Register as a non-member and pay fee)
  • Colleagues & Non Members (Vendors & Suppliers) - $75 per person
Non Member Fee:   Membership, in IFMA and the San Diego Chapter, is on an individual basis (not by company).  Therefore, to be considered a member and not charged to attend meeting/events, you (individually) have to be listed in the chapter membership records.  These records are provided to us by IFMA Headquarters.  Any discrepancies or changes must be resolved with the Membership Department at IFMA.  Please contact them at 713-623-4362 or ifma@ifma.org

Cancellations: Due to rising catering costs, cancellations MUST be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the event to receive a full refund.  Those making a reservation, but not attending the event/meeting (“No shows”) will be charged a $75 No-Show fee.
