Lunch & Learn Series 

NEW 1 CE HOUR Lunch and Learns, SMALL Virtual Groups

We are excited to announce a brand new NJSEA education series. 
 1.  Each meeting will feature a fellow member presenting on topics of their choosing.  
 2. The new Lunch & Learn series will be taking place via Zoom MEETINGS at noon on Tuesdays to provide additional CE opportunities for members who may have hurdles attending our other events.  The format will be a web meeting with both the instructor and participants on camera and on audio.  

SERIES OPENER: Tuesday, September 6, 2022    12:00 PM to 1:00 PM     Instructor: Ryan Mitchell, EA  Topic: Schedule C – Putting the Puzzle Together    Cost: $10 for Members (1 CE)

For the Series:

Registration is limited to 20 members per meeting so participants can be engaged and be seen and heard.  Cost is only $10.00 (1 hour and one IRS CE Credit).

Zoom Meeting - no driving time - and you can actively participate

The new series will kick off on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at noon and the second one will be two weeks later, Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at noon. Topics for October 4, 2022 and beyond, typically on a biweekly schedule, are in the works........

  • Does giving back to the Organization interest you? 
We also have an upcoming traditional session on How To Complete the Schedule C with Len Steinberg on September 21st at the APA.

Schedule C - Putting the Puzzle Together 
 
Description: 
Attendees will be walked through the Schedule C Interview with a fictious client.  What questions should you start asking?  What answers should get you asking more questions?  And what additional documentation will you be required to gather?

  3. When to seek additional documentation   

Instructor:  Ryan Mitchell, EA

Ryan Mitchell is an Enrolled Agent with over 15 years of public and private sector accounting experience.  He has been a Director for NJSEA for the past seven years and has served as the chair of the education committee for four of those.
