Advocating for Thriving Families with a Shared Message 

Messaging is one strategy to support efforts toward systemic changes that addresses ACEs and improve family well-being. A common frame and shared language can help unify different organizations and advocates with similar goals and amplify attention on overarching issues in a way that engages decisionmakers to work with you.

This webinar follows an advocacy overview webinar on October 6 (you do not have to attend both). The Iowa ACEs 360 team will share the strategic messaging we've been testing, what communications strategies have been effective for advocacy, and what we've learned in the process. We'll then discuss how this messaging resonates with you and how you could apply it to your work in your coalition or community, whether or not you plan to engage directly in advocacy efforts.

You'll leave this session with ideas for integrating messaging into your strategic, collaborative efforts. Iowa ACEs 360 will also use your input to inform our messaging and develop communications resources that support your work to educate and advocate with elected leaders and other stakeholders.
