2022 Great Willamette Clean Up:
Clearwater Park to Aspen Boat Ramp
(on WATER BYOB)

WHAT: Bring your own boat and join Willamette Riverkeeper and Willamette Kayak & Canoe Club as we get dirty for GOOD during our Great Willamette Clean Up Series! 

WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, October 8th | 10am - 2pm
Please be self-shuttled or contact Barbara Boylan for arrangements (see contact information below). This is a BYOB event. Please bring your own boat, be self-shuttled and ready for a safety talk at 10am sharp. We are planning to launch at 10:30am and will take out at ASPEN STREET boat ramp. 

DETAILS: Please pack along water, wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy close toed shoes. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves and trash pickers. Helmets strongly recommended for small watercraft. Class 2 paddling experience only. PFDS must be worn at all times on water. 

TRASH OR TREASURE CONTEST: During the cleanup, keep on the lookout  and take photos of your unique trash finds for our Trash or Treasure Contest! Tag @Willamette_Rivereeper and #GreatWillametteCleanup in your photos on Instagram and Facebook. Winners will be announced at the end of the month.
