John Mackewich is the founder and managing partner of Mackewich, PLLC. Mackewich is a Midwest based business and cannabis law firm with offices in Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, and Michigan. Previously John worked at a national AmLaw 200 law firm and helped lead their cannabis practice group. John is an experienced corporate, regulatory and marijuana attorney with 10+ years of experience assisting marijuana operators, investors and suppliers. John has guided and assisted 100’s of cannabis companies through the evolving complexities within the cannabis space to ensure compliance across all legal aspects of their businesses. John has drafted applications and obtained cultivation, manufacturing and dispensary licenses around the country since 2012. He assists operators with regulatory compliance, multi-state expansion, financing as well as mergers and acquisitions. John also acts as local and general counsel for cannabis companies throughout the United States.
