2022 Trends Influencing Our Future Work Spaces

2022 Trends We all realize that the way we work is changing rapidly.  Our lunch presentation will delve into what forces have been identified through research that are driving these changes.

Together let us:

  • Explore  how social factors; work demographics, shifting nature of work, health, attraction and retention,  are key compelling changes in the workplace.
  • Look at the rapid advancements in innovative technology, its current role and effects on the workplace as well as what the future technology could look like.
  • Consider the economic climate and its impact on organizational behavior and the places they inhabit.
  • Discover how a growing emphasis on environmental conscientiousness is also shaping how and where we work.

Our Speaker:  John Scott, Sr. Workplace Design Strategist, Haworth, Inc.

With 24+ years in the industry, John has extensive workplace design experience with a wide range of client and project types.  Working with prominent A&D firms in the Midwest, he has developed strong expertise in the areas of workplace strategy, organizational culture, and design development. John’s focus is on the translation of workplace research into conceptual design recommendations. In his role, John helps clients understand the linkages between design and business performance. He collaborates with them to explore how new ways of working impact cultural and organizational change.

  • 1:00 PM - Adjourn meeting

    • Facility Manager Only (One-time only) - complimentary
    • Vendor/Supplier - $75.00 per person (Register as a non-member and pay fee)
  • Colleagues & Non Members (Vendors & Suppliers) - $75 per person
Non Member Fee:   Membership, in IFMA and the San Diego Chapter, is on an individual basis (not by company).  Therefore, to be considered a member and not charged to attend meeting/events, you (individually) have to be listed in the chapter membership records.  These records are provided to us by IFMA Headquarters.  Any discrepancies or changes must be resolved with the Membership Department at IFMA.  Please contact them at 713-623-4362 or ifma@ifma.org

Cancellations: Due to rising catering costs, cancellations MUST be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the event to receive a full refund.  Those making a reservation, but not attending the event/meeting (“No shows”) will be charged a $75 No-Show fee.
