Rise to the Challenge

Fall 2023 Conference 

 

Join us for two days of learning, sharing, and fellowship on October 12 and 13, 2023. We are excited to have THREE nationally recognized keynote speakers and many breakout sessions over the two day conference! We will have math, literacy, and family/student support strands woven throughout the conference in addition to our first-ever activities for children who are rising to dyslexia challenges! We are very excited to bring math intervention expert, Dr. Paul Riccomini; literacy intervention expert and creator of Structured Word Inquiry, Dr. Pete Bowers; and author Dr Shawn Robinson, (Dr. Dyslexia Dude) join us for keynote presentations and breakout sessions. We will also have a variety of Alabama experts join us as we share ideas and best practices to support students with dyslexia as they face both reading and math challenges. Enjoy breakout sessions on a variety of topics including assistive technology, multisensory classroom strategies, and a variety of sessions specifically for parents and students.
