Skilled Touch Training (STP):
Touch feedback from an instructor is essential to the core content of this class. Face-to-face skilled touch training will be provided by a Skilled Touch Practitioner (STP). See below to ensure an STP is in your area. Your instructor will confirm and verify the availibility of a Skilled Touch Practitioner for you.

Clinical Acupressure 1: Basic Applications
This course teaches how to use acupressure to balance and energize the whole body and specific parts. Demonstration and practice show the application of formulas for all parts of the body, such as the head, neck, back, face, chest, abdomen, pelvis, legs and feet, arms and hands, and many symptoms, such as blood pressure, constipation, digestive problems, headaches, etc. Participants learn to locate and access more than 35 potent acupressure points. They also receive a clinical handbook and study guide with more than 70 specific acupressure formulas for specific body parts and conditions. Appropriate for clinical applications. This course is ideal for health-care professionals with hands-on experience.
Note: This is one of our two Foundation courses. The other is Process Acupressure 1: Foundations
There are no pre-requisites for this class.
CE: 24 contact hours for nurses and massage therapists

Before You Register
Ensure a Skilled Touch Practitioner is available
1. Please view the list below to make sure there is a Skilled Touch Practitioner (STP) available near your area or in a place where you are willing to travel.
2. Face-to-face skilled touch training must occur within 12 weeks of the scheduled class.
3. The instructor will confirm and verify the availability of a STP for you.
In the event that your instructor is unable to verify the availability of a STP a full refund will be issued.
