Join the NJ ACE Women’s Network for an unforgettable dialogue and virtual networking during our Fall 2022 Women of Color Conference.

Our featured speaker is Dr. Sofia B. Pertuz, a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) professional and ICF certified executive coach with over 25 years of experience serving higher education, nonprofit and corporate organizations. Sofia serves as Managing Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for Billie Jean King Enterprises and is the founder of Mainstream Insight LLC, which leads organizations towards inclusive excellence.

Dr. Pertuz is also a senior advisor for The Jed Foundation, a non-profit that protects the emotional health and prevents suicide for young people. She previously served as JED’s Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer. She is an often sought-after speaker and often delivers insight and expertise on culturally responsive mental health support for diverse populations, social justice, racial equity, and LGBTQ advocacy, in both English and Spanish. 

She will be joined by our moderator Yesenia Madas, Ed.D., Vice President for Student Affairs at Brookdale Community CollegeDr. Madas, a self-described 'grit master' and champion of upward mobility, is passionate about student success and motivating others to achieve their dreams.
