The Artemis-I Mission caught the eyes and attention around the world with the SLS/Orion launch on Nov. 15 / Nov. 16. The Orion spacecraft is scheduled to splashdown / return to early off the coast of California. Please join us and share the great moment together, chat more about this mission, and the future of the Moon-Mars missions. More details will be provided when it gets closer to the splashdown event (December 11).

1:22:09 a.m. – Orion Solar Array Wing Deploy Begins (MET 00:18:09)

1:56:56 a.m. – Perigee Raise Maneuver (MET 00:52:56)

  • Flight Day 13: (11/28): Orion reaches maximum distance from Earth (4:05 p.m.) at approximately 268,563 miles (432,194 km)

 

Flight Day 16-19 - Exit DRO

Flight Day 20-26 - Return transit
