2023 Advent Women's Retreat 

All women are warmly invited to attend the Women’s Retreat on February 3 - 5, 2023 at Children’s Harbor Conference Center at Lake Martin. Our speaker is Lisa Wheeler, former Advent Co-Director of Christian Education and 2021 Lenten preacher.  About her teaching for the weekend, titled "What's Love Got To Do With It?", Lisa writes, "in our time together, we'll consider this question through a panoramic study of 1 and 2 Samuel, using Israel's first two kings as a mirror - Saul and David.  When you think of a church retreat, if you envision boring worship, terrible food, and icky camp accomodations, then you've clearly never been to the Advent's women's retreat!  Don’t miss out on this fun time of rest and spiritual renewal with your sisters in Christ!  

Although most meals will have some kind of non-meat protein option, please bring your own food if you have dietary restrictions.
