National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS

Breaking Faith Barriers Through Recovery
#WeBelongTogether

National Week of Prayer for the Healing of HIV/AIDS | Balm In Gilead (NWOP) is March 6 through 12, 2023. The goal is to bring national attention to the AIDS epidemic in the U.S. and the extraordinary role faith communities can play in addressing the HIV and AIDS pandemic. Every house of worship and home is invited to join in prayer, education, advocacy, and service for the healing of AIDS in the U.S. and around the world.

In recognition of the NWOP, EOC of Suffolk, Inc. will host its annual event and dinner on Thursday March 9, 2023 at the Central Islip Recreation Center, 555 Clayton Avenue, Central Islip from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Doors open at 6:45pm. The theme of this year’s event is “Breaking Faith Barriers Through Recovery.”

We invite you to join us for an evening of community engagement with keynote and guest speakers.  The event is free and open to the community. Space is limited so please register by Monday, February 27, 2023.
