The theme for the 2023 National March for Life is "Next Steps: Marching into a Post-Roe America." Our local event will  be echoing that same message. To see more information about the 2023 March for Life, click here.

You're invited to join us for the 2023 Summit County March for Life!

Due to the uncertain nature of requirements both inside and outside of D.C., we are unable to send a bus to the 2023 National March for Life, but that won't stop us for standing up for LIFE! Let's gather for life right here in Northeast Ohio!

The event's tentative schedule is as follows:

  • Meet at Community Vineyard Church at 9:00 AM.  Parking is available in the church's parking lot; please be respectful and don't park in any business's lots. If the church's lot is full, please ultilize the nearby street parking.
  • Participate in a short time of prayer and equipping before we begin the march.  To view the march route, click here.
  • March from the church south on State Road to pass the Northeast Ohio Women's Center abortion facility, and then return to the church.
  • Join march participants at Community Vineyard Church for a time of fellowship and refreshments at approximately 10:30 AM. The church has graciously offered to provide hot drinks and cookies for all attendees!

 Please note:

  • All times are approximate. More details will be available closer to the event.
  • We encourage you to make your own unique signs! This year's theme is "NEXT STEPS: Marching into a post-Roe America" so feel free to let that inspire your sign design. Since this will be a peaceful, postively-focused event, please refrain from bringing signs with graphic images or harsh messages. For a list of sign ideas, click here! If you are unable to bring your own sign, we will be bringing a limited number of signs for use the day of the event.
  • Should there be a weather event which blocks the sidewalks for the actual march, we will pivot to a slightly longer service in the church.
  • Please click on the link below to register so that we have an approximate idea of how many to expect.

This coming year will mark the 50th year since abortion was legalized in all 50 states by the Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade. Since that day, 65 million innocent children have been brutally killed and countless women have been left forever changed by abortion. Even though Roe has been overturned and the legality of abortion has been returned to the states, we still have an uphill battle. We march to end the egregious human rights violation that is legalized abortion. We march because we know that every human life has value. We march into a post-Roe America where we CAN make abortion illegal!
