During all of our Photo Tours, everyone will have time to enjoy the sights and photographers will get plenty of time for shooting with two professional instructors each day. Non-photographers will never be left standing around waiting for their photographer partners as they will have options to sightsee and shop, but we will also offer instruction on how to get amazing photos with your camera phone if you're interested!

Unlike standard vacation tours, this small group tour is designed for those wishing to capture great photography and their partners who are interested in a great vacation. We'll tour the most beautiful locations and have time for sightseeing, shopping and great food everywhere we visit.

A special feature we offer is our own private coach with our guide and driver. Other than needing to be at our hotel each night, we have complete control over where we visit and how long we stay. No big busses that can't get everywhere and that require you to be back on the bus after an all-too-short visit before being herded off to the next quick stop. We decide on specific stops depending on the best options available and have a leisurely time exploring each place we visit.

Our Itinerary

Each day will have touring, free time and photography time. Though some minor adjustments may be made, here’s our planned itinerary for the week:

Day 1 • Tuesday 10/17 - We’ll meet in London at our hotel after pick up from the airport. Should you wish to arrive early to spend some time exploring London and/or the surrounding area, we'll let you know exactly when and where we will meet. We can explore the area around our hotel and then have a free evening to get settled in and prepare for the next full day. (Overnight in London - Doubletree by Hilton London)

Day 2 • Wednesday 10/18 - After breakfast, we’ll take a tour of the sights around London and visit the iconic places - as we get closer, we will share all of the details and options! (Overnight in London - Doubletree by Hilton London)

Day 3 • Thursday 10/19 - We travel this morning from London to Stratford-Upon-Avon - the birthplace of Shakespeare. This is a beautiful, medieval market town and a wonderful place to stroll, sightsee and take photos. We will have both a guided walk and free time this afternoon. (Overnight in Stratford-Upon-Avon - Doubletree by Hilton)

Day 4 • Friday 10/20  - Traveling from Stratford, we head to the walled medieval city of York. Interesting, narrow streets, the ruins of St. Mary's Abbey, the Viking Museum and York Minster all make for lots of photo opportunities and some fun shopping too! (Overnight York - Hampton by Hilton York)

Day 5 -7 • Saturday 10/21 thru Monday 10/23 - Following our stay in York, we head nortwest towards the Lake District and Kendal - another beautiful Market town and the unofficial capitol of the region. We will use Kendal as our base for three nights as we explore the region and the bautiful scenery and landscapes. (Overnight Kendal - Castle Green Hotel)

Day 8 • Tuesday 10/24 - We arrive in Edinburgh Scotland today - Scotland's compact and hilly capitol. (Overnight Edinburgh - Jurys Inn)

Day 9 • Wednesday 10/25 -  A full day in edinburgh, with plenty of time to explore the Edinburgh Castle and the towns famous Royal Mile. We will arrange a tour of the castle and have some free time in the afternoon. We wil arrange a last-night dinner and show to provide a great conclusion to a wonderful trip! (Overnight Edinburgh - Jurys Inn)

Day 10 • Thursday 10/26 -  Morning airport transfers to get you back home - all after a wonderful visit the the beauty of Autumn in Great Britain!

We've added extra time to this Tour compared to past years as we realized we needed a bit more time to take it all in while keeping a leisurely pace. Amazing scenery, private touring, wonderful attractions and professional instruction for everyone! The price of $3695 per person (dbl occupancy) includes touring, instruction, all entrance fees, lodging and breakfasts along with our final evening dinner and show. Single travelers are always welcome and we are always a very friendly group - send us a note if you need more details!
