Motivating employees and dealing with difficult employees

Running a business that relies on the efforts of others is no easy task.  Owners have to rely on their team every day and vice-versa.  I will show you how to motivate employees to help grow your business, and possibly provide them with a  career they care deeply about.  We will also learn how to handle difficult employees.  I will also share tips and tricks for providing productive and constructive feedback.

Presenter and SCORE Mentor John Stewart is a Multi-Business Owner.  He has owned businesses since 2007.  He currently has 27 team members in his companies.  His companies teach martial arts and run after school programs. He has a tremendous amount of experience in growing a team, hiring, firing, promoting and most importantly company culture.  Most importantly he is the biggest student he knows.  He started mentoring with SCORE in June 2020.  He has received a lot of help in his life from great mentors, and he wanted to give back by helping other small business owners and future owners learn how to start and grow a business.
