Please join The Arc of Massachusetts (The Arc) and the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council (MDDC) on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00AM for the 45th Annual Legislative Reception. The theme for the reception this year is "Disability Workforce Equity Now!"

We are excited to announce this year's Legislator of the Year Awardees. The Arc will be honoring Senator Michael Barrett and MDDC will be honoring Representative Christine Barber. Both Senator Barrett and Representative Barber are tireless advocates for people with disabilities.

We anticipate several hundred citizens, family members, and staff in the field will attend in person, as well as numerous elected and appointed officials. Please set up an appointment ahead of time to meet with your legislators, and encourage them to attend the Legislative Reception. To identify your legislators and for a link to their contact information, click here.

American Sign Language (ASL) will be provided, as well as CART. Accommodations must be requested by February 22.

While we will be providing masks for those who would like them, to increase accessibility for community members this will also be live-streamed on Facebook.
