Nature journaling is a fantastic way to get away from our everyday hustle and bustle; and a great way to practice patience, observational skills, and creative expression. It is an excellent opportunity to get outside and experience our natural world.
Nature Journaling is a great activity for kids as well; supporting lessons in both literacy, math, science, and more! Observation, writing, sketching, data collection, sequencing, and reflection are just a few of the many useful skills students may use while journaling.
Join us to learn basic journaling techniques and use activities from PLT to enhance your journaling skills. This will be a hands-on, interactive program conducted indoors and out and will include arts, crafts, and lesson planning ideas.
