Course Description

This class will provide students with updated knowledge and practical skills to audit Microsoft 365 tenants, and to improve security of Microsoft 365 configuration and monitoring capabilities. The class provides practical, effective approaches for asking and answering compliance questions, auditing Microsoft 365 environment and driving security improvements referencing Microsoft, CIS security baselines and CISA guidlines. Workshop provides practitioner approach to continuous audit, monitoring, and implementing additional visibility into Microsoft 365 environment. At the end of the class students will be able to update Microsoft 365 audit plans, security configuration and organization compliance, improve organization incident response, security of the environment and implement continuous audit and monitoring of the organization Microsoft 365 tenant.

  • Module 1: To Cloud Or Not To Cloud - Digital transformation challanges 
  • Module 2: Protecting organization resources - threat and vulnerability management, threat protection, conditional access, cross-tenant colaboration, data loss prevention policies 
  • Module 3: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MD4E) EDR - integration with other M365 solutions, advanced features, incident investigation and response, do's and don't s 
  • Module 4: Scoring well in Purple/Red Team exercises - Microsoft Defender for Identity and other M365 solutions
