Dr. Feldmann has run his independent consulting organization since 2009, has been a program evaluator since 2002 and a consultant since 1998. He has led the evaluation for more than 80 K-12 education projects that have exceeded $50 million in funding. He is a frequent conference speaker on evaluation concepts that have included 3 day long pre-conference workshops at the American Evaluation Association, multiple mini workshops at regional associations, and an invitation to present at AEA’s Summer Evaluation Institute. He is the founding president of the Evaluation Association of St. Louis.
Program Description:
Evaluation is the systematic method for collecting, analyzing, and using information to answer questions about projects, policies and programs including the design of outcome measures. Through discussion and activities participants will gain an understanding for program evaluation concepts. The workshop will discuss the importance of program evaluation with funded projects, selecting an evaluator, evaluation costing, and a 10-step evaluation planning framework that participants can use for program development and grant writing.
