Join us for a 6-week self-care series for caregivers and anyone experiencing heightened stress. Learn simple techniques to build core resilience, balance the nervous system and deepen a healthy connection to your body. Each week we will gather online to practice shifting habituated patterns of holding stress and tune into your innate body’s wisdom. Some practices include mindfulness, gentle movement and release, brain and body balancing, guided visualization and boosting the immune system.
Thursdays, March 16, March 23, March 30, April 13, April 20, April 27, from 11am to 11:45am on Zoom.
Open to all, previous attendance or prior experience is not required.
Presenter Reina Goldberg is a Mindfulness Educator, Trauma Informed Coach, and Multifaceted Healing Practitioner. Reina holds a Masters of Education in Mindfulness Studies (MA Ed.) from Antioch University, and a B.A. in Psychology and Education from York University. She is certified as a Yoga Therapist, with certifications in Qigong Infused and Hatha Yoga, Applied Polyvagal Theory Therapeutic Yoga, as well as a Healthy Bones & Balance teacher. In addition, Reina is also a Grief Coach, with training based in trauma informed healing modalities.
All ages are welcome, and all exercises can be done seated or standing.
This program is free and open to the public, and will be held on Zoom.
