Building a Robust Health Care Workforce in Massachusetts: Findings, Challenges, and Opportunities

The Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) is hosting this event on March 29, 2023, to focus on the critical challenges facing the health care workforce in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the context of continued strain on our health system's capacity and resources, we hope to facilitate a productive dialogue among health care providers, policymakers, and researchers to identify potential solutions for these current challenges.

The agenda will include  two panels featuring prominent speakers from the across the health care industry continuum to provide insights on the latest data and research on the state of the health care workforce, share their experiences, and discuss potential policy solutions in a post-COVID-19 environment. In addition, an HPC research presentation will share findings from an upcoming report on the state of the health care workforce.

The event will begin at 8:30 AM with registration and breakfast and the program will begin at 9:00 AM.

For those unable to attend in-person, the presentation and panels will be livestreamed on the HPC's YouTube Channel and a recording will be available there following the conclusion of the event.
