The Autism Society of Iowa is an affiliate of the Autism Society. They are a statewide non profit advocacy organization dedicated to improve the lives of children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Autism, refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by challenges with social skills, repetitive behaviors, speech and non verbal communication. According to the Center for Disease Control, autism affects 1 in 44 children in the U.S. today.
