Join us for the Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable Field Trip on Thursday, May 18, for a tour of Cypress Creek Park at Timber Lane. We will learn more about this award-winning park and community center. 

We will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the Community Center at 1904 Naplechase Crest Dr., Spring, TX 77373. Carpooling is encouraged. H-GAC will not provide transportation to the community center.

Lunch will be provided. Tours of the community center, fire lookout tower, Herman Little Park, and Mercer-Timber Lane Park will follow from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Registration by May 11 is required for lunch and on-site transportation. 

The Parks and Natural Areas Roundtable serves as a forum for discussion of issues related to parks and natural areas and promotes the annual Parks and Natural Areas Award Program. The Roundtable facilitates information exchange and planning efforts between various stakeholders and collaborators to protect and preserve parks and natural areas across the region.

The Roundtable meets the second Monday of July and October, with field trips in the spring and fall and an awards recognition ceremony in February. The group is open to anyone interested in participating.
