Planning  & Navigating in an Uncertain Economy

March 9 Breakfast Webinar

The last several years have generated considerable economic uncertainty. Some economists predict a recession later this year; others believe the worst is behind us.  So as business leaders, how do we understand the current state of our economy?  And how do we navigate and plan in the face of continued economic uncertainty?

Wisconsin Center for Performance Excellence and The Performance Excellence Network are pleased to host an online webinar discussion on Thursday, March 9: “Planning and Navigating in an Uncertain Economy.”  The discussion will be facilitated by King Banaian, Professor of Economics and Dean at St. Cloud State University.

Professor Banaian will not only describe what he sees in today’s economy but will share a few scenarios he sees potentially unfolding as we move through 2023.  His analysis and insights might be helpful as leaders consider budget decisions, resource allocations, plans for the rest of the year and beyond.  His discussion will focus on the Upper Midwest, but also consider the situation nationally and globally.

This session is Thursday, March 9 from 8:00-9:00 CT (optional networking and mingling 7:45-8:00) using Zoom MEETING. Grab your favorite morning beverage and join us for a rich discussion. Free for WCPE/PEN members; $20 for non-members.
