Hadestown the Musical: Real-Life Applications to Our Real-Life Brains 

Good theatre is a reflection of us, the audience. The Tony and Grammy-award winning musical Hadestown, coming to Cincinnati, is one of the best modern examples of seeing ourselves in fictional characters. Dr. Alisa Hurwitz, aka as Dr. Drama, and touring cast member Belén Moyano, explore the internal dialogue and negative self-talk exhibited by several of the characters and discuss how cognitive behavioral therapy could be beneficial to them if they were real.
