Facilitator: Norman Love


Norman Love has served under God in the capacity of an Associate Minister and an ordained Pastor for 33 years. Norman is also an Academic Educator and an Associate Mental Health and Marriage Family Therapist from the State of California. 

Norman attended Fuller Theological Seminary & Bethany Bible Studies of California. His academic studies encompass a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership from Biola University, La Mirada, CA; Master of Counseling Psychology degree from Argosy University Ontario, CA; and is a Psy.D Marriage Family Therapy candidate from Alliant International University of San Diego, CA.
Norman serves as a volunteer counselor with 2nd Mile Ministry and is involved in our Life Group Ministry. He is currently processesing his credentials in Counseling in North Carolina.

 Education Pastor Grey Stone of Durham.

Randall has been in ministry for 40 years and now serves in a range of ministries which includes equipping our Bible Studies & Life Groups, SoulCare Groups, Discipleship, and Missions. He has training from FSU, Southern Seminary, and New Orleans Seminary and is a PhD candidate with Trinity Seminary.

2023 Here's Hope:

Depression/Anxiety Support Group 

On-Campus Depression & Anxiety Support Group. A unique experiential short-term support group for those experiencing depression or anxiety. Six+  weekly (in-person) discussions with Pastor Randall & our Facilitator, Norman Love. Participants must register to receive access & resources for the group. (Max 25 people).

More Event Details:

An increasing number of us are experiencing a personal battle, particularly during the current season in our world. Do you feel the darkness of depression, or struggle with the worry of anxiety?

Through this on-campus, small-group format, Facilitator Norman Love will lead us in a healthy discussion with encouragement and information from a Biblical worldview. We will learn to shift our focus to the mind and comfort of the Lord: the Helper and Healer of our hearts!

Each 60-minute session will include a Welcome, Overview of the session, Encouraging Words & Scripture, Group stories & discussion, Prayer, and a 15-20 minute breakout session with our host.  Participants will receive e-mailed formats beforehand, and resource handouts at the first attendance session.
