Christian Coaches Couples Retreat
Friday, May 12th, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm & Saturday May 13th, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Coaching can be tough. So can marriage. The two combined are sure to put even your best game plan to the test. Sometimes, you need to spend some intentional time together.

You’re invited to join Athletes in Action, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, EMU Head Football Coach Chris Creighton and his wife Heather, for a two-day retreat with high school and college football coaches and their spouses. The event is designed to help football coaches and their spouses win where it matters most - at home! Just like a timeout helps in competition, this 'timeout' will help you and your spouse catch your breath, evaluate where you are at in your marriage and refocus the game plan. You are not on this journey alone and we want to help! 

What to Expect

A panel of college and high school football coaches and their wives being real about marriage.
Guest Speakers include: Tom & Tracey Allen - University of Indiana, Rich & Julie Fox - Centre College, Pedro & Kara Arruza - Randolph Macon College, and Terrance & Adrienne Quinn - SE MI High School Coach

Two professional marriage coaches, Rob & Karen Shive, providing an inside 'scouting report' and practical tools on how to communicate better with your spouse. 

Designated time to use as a couple.

This intentional time is designed to help you and your spouse grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and each other. It is time to get back to the X's and O's in your marriage in these key areas: FAITH - Regardless of your faith journey, Jesus Christ has a greater plan for your marriage. FAMILY - As a coach, you are always on the go. Ensure that your spouse and family do not get what is left of you, but the best of you. If a timeout can change the outcome of a game, think about what a 'timeout' could do for your marriage.
