About NAWBO Hispanic Supportive CONNECTS/Networking
The National Association of Women Business Owners, NAWBO Charlotte chapter is an organization specifically designed to fuel the success of the women-owned businesses in the Charlotte area and the surrounding NC & SC counties. All our CONNECTS meetings connect women business owners to share best practices and support one another and provide an opportunity for business networking in an interactive format. CONNECTS meetings are open to members and non-members and there is no cost to attend. NAWBO offers CONNECTS meetings in the Charlotte area and surrounding NC & SC counties on the same day each month but on varying days and times. Ballantyne - Amélie’s French Bakery & Café, Waxhaw/Weddington/Wesley Chapel - The Buzz Beer & Wine Co, Lake Norman - Waterbean Cafe', Fort Mill - Corkscrew at Kingsley Shopping Center, Uptown - Vibe Café, SouthPark – Roosters Restaurant, and our Virtual CONNECTS. In an effort to support the growing Hispanic community in Charlotte, we have added a new Connects/Networking meeting in Spanish. The focus of the meeting is to connect with Hispanic women business owners, create new relationships, and bring awareness of the opportunities NAWBO can provide.
Este año NAWBO ha decidido apoyar aún más a la creciente comunidad Hispana en Charlotte; por ello, hemos agregado un nuevo “Connects/Networking Meeting en Español”. El enfoque de este encuentro es conectar con las mujeres Hispanas emprendedoras, crear nuevas relaciones y dar a conocer las oportunidades que NAWBO puede brindar.
